Galatians 5:18

Fruit that’s Always in Season Part 4 - Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self-Control

Paul has been arguing in his letter to the Galatians that justification and sanctification are closely linked together:  both are achieved by a life of faith.

In other words, Christian holiness is not achieved by the law; not by rules and regulations and judgmental condemnation, but by the Spirit.

Paul says clearly: “If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law” (Galatians 5:18). When you are walking by the Spirit you produce fruit. Next Sunday we want to look at three virtues Paul says are related to ourselves:  Faithfulness, Gentleness and self-control.
