Next Week’s Message: The Importance of God’s Word 1 Kings 13
One of my favorite Old Testament characters is a “no name.” By that I mean his name is never mentioned. Nothing is said of his family or background and his story is seldom talked about in church or Sunday school.
We do know he’s a prophet from Judah who lived under the rule of Jeroboam who was a king in Judah. His story, told in 1 Kings 13, communicates a powerful lesson for the Christian and that is: Nothing is more important than the Word of the Lord. Next Sunday, we will look at his story. The lesson is crucial for those of us in the game of life.
