This Sunday July 4th we will celebrate our nation's birthday. 245 years ago this Sunday the signers of the Declaration of Independence met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and declared themselves a free nation.

Their actions led to war, and to many they are considered to be God fearing men, men of honor and integrity and to others, bad men, who owned slaves, and were no better than the rest.

Their boldness and sacrifice brought about the beginning of what can be legitimately argued as the greatest nation that has ever existed.

This Sunday we will look at a dialogue Jesus had with his enemies designed to get him into trouble with both the civil authorities as well as the religious leaders of his day.

His response has some important ramifications for us and principles for us to follow.

If you are unable to attend, you may watch the service on-line at our YouTube channel.
